The Corkmatters collection is a series of objects that aims to explore cork, one of the most sustainable materials, and its properties to an utmost aesthetic and functional use.
A combination of precise mathematics and the randomness of a natural material, unfolds plain cork agglomerate sheets in 3 dimensional sculptural shapes. The creation process of these lamps combines the technology of laser cutting with the self developed handmade shaping with a non-pollutant process.
Made out of Portuguese cork the lamps weigh very little, and the light is diffused in a cozy and warm way, casting beautiful shadows.
