The Corky Serving Tray is another vessel from the Corkmatters series. Laser cutting combined with a handmade non-pollutant process transform a cork sheet into decorative tray with curvy and organic shapes.
Corky Serving Tray is suitable for dry contents it can to be used as a bread basket, center piece or even just a pocket emptier.
There is a sustainable concern in the production method, so all Corkmatters products are hand made with natural materials (with the exception of the electrical components). In this production method cork is crafted in a unique way, completely different from how it is usually done, where the physical properties of cork are explored to an utmost aesthetic use. Combining laser cutting technology with a non-pollutant handmade shaping process. Two dimensional cork sheets are unfolded into three dimensional sculptural objects.
